The BBC has released a brief teaser for the upcoming Doctor Who<\/em> 60th anniversary specials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And when we say “brief”, we do mean brief<\/em>. It lasts just 10 seconds…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But heck, at least we get a glimpse of first Catherine Tate returning as Donna Noble, then David Tennant as the Fourteenth Doctor. The teaser looked a bit like a channel ident, but seemingly glitches, showing up a network error. Nonetheless, the opening shot, of a fly getting gulped up in a Venus flytrap, feels particularly ominous, hinting that the Doctor and Donna are dancing to someone else’s tune. (Who said, “the Celestial Toymaker”?)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The teaser first appeared on BBC1 last night (29th April 2023) after The Weakest Link<\/em>. Don’t worry if you missed it because you can enjoy it right now…<\/p>\n\n\n\n
